OCTOBER 1976
Leyland National "LN11351A/1R 03562" was new to Ribble, fleet number 736 (UHG 736R).

As with most of the Nationals, she was powered by a Leyland 510, fixed cylinder head engine, which was cooled by a rear mounted radiator, fitted with a 5 speed semi automatic gearbox and a 4.3:1 differential.










MAY 1994
Purchased by London & Country and had the East Lancs Greenway conversion carried out. At this time, she gained fleet number 359. She was allocated to Addlestone depot (WY).







NOVEMBER 1994
Re-registered JIL 2199.


SEPTEMBER 1998

Change of ownership to Arriva and was repainted to the standard turquoise & stone livery. Fleet number 2146.






DECEMBER 1999
Transferred to Arriva Fox County.









JUNE 2002
Purchased by Northern Blue, and was painted in their standard blue & white livery.



JUNE 2003

Purchased at auction by British Bus Sales.





AUGUST 2004
Purchased by Woottens (Chesham). It remained in Northern Blue colours, but with Woottens vinyls.


MARCH 2006

Re-registered back to UHG 736R.







JUNE 2007
Purchased by Richard Ardous








SEPTEMBER 2014
Purchased by Andrew Pearson.







JANUARY 2015
Spare windscreens and 33 individual seats and backs purchased from Mike Nash, to complete full repairs to any damaged moquette.

MARCH 2015

New Sprayers (injectors) fitted by the excellent Ashley Blackman and a complete assessment of 359 was completed at the same time.
